Thought Leaders Share Their Best Ideas to Increase Marketing ROI
NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ, USA – November 2, 2015 — The Association of Commercial Professionals – Life Sciences (ACP-LS) today announced a partnership with Life Science Marketing Radio, a podcast focused on the needs of professionals who market scientific products and services to organizations that perform research, discovery, development, and manufacturing of pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostic products and therapies.
Interviews with industry leaders and marketing experts provide practical examples to help life science marketers be more successful. Topics range from social media strategies and content marketing to the interface between sales and marketing to how to change an organization through marketing communications. Over twenty episodes are already available on the Life Science Marketing Radio website, and on mobile via iTunes and Stitcher.
I started Life Science Marketing Radio to share the best ideas of marketing leaders both inside and outside the life sciences with my clients and prospective clients, who are the same audience as the ACP-LS community”, said Chris Conner, the founder and host of the podcast. “When I joined the ACP-LS editorial board, I realized that the content I was developing, both in my blog and the podcast, fit perfectly with the ACP-LS mission – to help marketers succeed. There is no sales pitch on the podcast. This partnership is a natural evolution of my work on the editorial board.”
We are so pleased that Chris has been such an active and dedicated ACP-LS member, and we are elated that he will share Life Science Marketing Radio with the ACP-LS community”, said Chuck Drucker, President of the ACP-LS. “Managing a volunteer non-profit organization presents special challenges compared to a for-profit company. One of those challenges is to find motivated individuals to help drive initiatives. Providing relevant and valuable content is a key initiative for ACP-LS, and Life Science Marketing Radio is a fantastic way to support that initiative.”
The Association of Commercial Professionals – Life Sciences (ACP-LS) is the first organization for life science commercial professionals (sales, marketing, business development, client services, commercial operations and technical support) dedicated to selling and marketing to organizations (academic, government and commercial) that perform research, discovery, development, and manufacturing of pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostic products and therapies.
The purpose of ACP-LS is to serve its members, who are among the ~60,000 people globally who work in commercial roles for life science products and services companies. Those companies include contract research and contract manufacturing organizations (CROs & CMOs), scientific equipment manufacturers, reagents manufacturers, and consultancies. The association provides a dynamic forum for the exchange of knowledge through ongoing education, information resources, and opportunities for networking and professional development for life science commercial professionals.
